We're excited to announce one of our most requested features — the Trending Games system! Now you can see which games are popular across the entire platform and within each specific category.
How Trending Works: Our trending system is powered by community votes. When users like a game, it gains points in our ranking system. The more likes a game receives (relative to dislikes), the higher it climbs in the trending charts. This creates a democratic way to surface the best games.
Global Trending: Click the "Trending" tab in the category bar to see the top 30 most-liked games across all categories. This is the best way to discover what's popular right now on EggerMath. The trending page updates in real-time as new votes come in.
Category Trending: Here's where it gets really useful — when you're browsing a specific category like Racing or Puzzle, you'll see a "Trending in [Category]" section at the top. This shows you the most popular games within that specific genre. So if you're looking for the best racing games, just click "Racing" and the top picks are right there.
Why Trending Matters: With over 3,000 games in our library, it can be overwhelming to find quality games. Trending solves this by letting the community curate the best content. Games that rise to the top have been validated by hundreds or thousands of player votes.
How to Vote: Play any game and decide if you like it. Click the thumbs up (👍) button to give it a like, or thumbs down (👎) if it's not for you. Your vote counts toward the game's trending score. Every vote matters — especially for newer games trying to gain visibility.
Help Your Favorites Rise: If you have favorite games that you think deserve more attention, vote for them! Each like pushes the game higher in the trending charts, exposing it to more players. It's the best way to support the games and developers you love.
