What is EggerMath?
EggerMath is a free, browser-based emulator that lets you play classic Game Boy Advance, Game Boy Color, and Game Boy games instantly online. No downloads, no installs, no sign-ups — just pick a game and start playing.
Why We Built This
We grew up playing these games. Pokemon, Zelda, Mario, Kirby — these titles shaped an entire generation. But over time, the hardware got harder to find, cartridges stopped working, and the games people loved became inaccessible.
We wanted to change that. EggerMath brings these classic games back to life using modern web technology. The entire emulator runs in your browser using WebAssembly, meaning nothing is streamed from a server — the game runs locally on your device for the best possible performance.
How It Works
Our emulator is powered by mGBA, one of the most accurate Game Boy Advance emulators ever created. We compile it to WebAssembly (WASM) so it runs natively in your browser at near-native speed.
Game files are loaded directly from MEGA cloud storage. When you click "Play", the ROM is fetched by your browser and loaded into the emulator — we never store or serve game files on our servers.
